Dolls, Dolls, the Magical Toys. The More You Collect, the more…?

“Beans, beans, the magical fruit. The more you eat, the more you toot” is where I get this expression from–Dolls, dolls, the magical toys. The more you collect, the more you–what?

How would you fill in the blank?

I believe all doll collectors share similar experiences but we all collect differently.  For example, some people collect dolls for landscaping design. For me, I collect them for display in my home and the more dolls I collect the more debt I have. It’s supposed to be funny but in reality it can be quite alarming too.

When you’re addicted to collecting something, money is less valuable then what you’re collecting so debt seems like a joke. If you don’t value money as much as dolls then there’s no worries spending everything you have in getting all the best dolls!

But other doll collectors I know would fill in the blank even differently. They would probably say the more you collect, the more you smile or something along those lines.

I’m curious to know how you would fill in the blank.
